Fountain pen friendly. The absorbent paper has low ghosting and it only feathered when I lingered on the page with a wet ink in a wet stub italic. Bleeding in a stub italic is a bit of a problem, but it only interferes with using both sides of the page if both pen and ink are wet. All in all good for practicing tengwar with an italic nib.
